52 Tonnes Of Food Collected In Curitiba

The WTCC Race of Brazil, which took place last Sunday in Curitiba, again made a contribution towards the aid of the starving people of Brazil.

Like in 2007, together the City Hall of Curitiba; KSO, the championship promoter; HSBC and TIM, partners of the event, offered free tickets to the public in exchange for two kilograms of food.

Yokohama Partner Of Speed Racer

During last week's WTCC event in Curitiba, Yokohama exhibited the Mach 5 car that will star in the new Warner Bros movie 'Speed Racer'.

The movie, written and directed by Andy and Larry Wachowski (creators of 'The Matrix') will be released from May 9th, 2008.

Audi Sport North America fired the first shot at Sebring International Raceway this week with the unofficial fastest time in Monday morning's first test session for the 56th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. Allan McNish's time of 1:44.093 was just 0.244 seconds better than diesel rival Peugeot.

Stephane Sarrazin's unofficial time of 1:43.302 was the quickest in the two sessions at the 3.7-mile, 17-turn circuit.

AF Corse Announces 2008 Driver Lineup


AF Corse have announced a different driver lineup from 2007

A few days before the FIA GT championship collective tests,in Monza on March 13th and 14th, AF Corse has announced its crews for the 2008 season.
The nr 50 Ferrari F430 GT2 will be driven by reigning GT2 Champion Toni Vilander and 2007 vice-champion Gianmaria Bruni. Its sister car, the nr 51 Ferrari, will be driven by a pair of drivers from GT1.
