Jota Sport took some valuable championship points from a challenging weekend at rounds 3 and 4 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Rockingham.

After topping the timesheets with both Sam Hancock and Phil Quaife in Friday’s test sessions, the team couldn’t carry that pace into qualifying and the race, with Hancock taking a fifth and a fourth in Sunday’s double-header and Quaife bouncing back with a race 2 fifth having suffered a race 1 DNS.

Knockhill: Scottish Frustration for Team Modena

Team Modena Team Modena's first visit to the tight and twisty Knockhill circuit in Scotland was an ultimately frustrating one, the team scoring points in a confused race one before being knocked out of race two. Newcomers Guy Harrington and Ben de Zille Butler gained valuable track time to settle in with the team and the Lamborghini Gallardo, but the long trip north proved a disappointment with the car ending the weekend damaged and in a gravel bed.

Knockhill: CR Scuderia Leaves Scotland with Championship Lead

The CR Scuderia team leaves Knockhill tonight with a healthy lead in the 2008 Avon Tyres British GT Championship, and with Michael Cullen and Paddy Shovlin riding high in the driver’s championship. The team had a tough race today so yesterday’s win remains the highlight of CR Scuderia’s GT weekend.
