Rossi takes the first Megane Trophy race of the season

Leader from start to finish, apart from during pitstops, Michaël Rossi (TDS Racing) dominated this first race. The TDS Racing driver won the first of race of this season's opening meeting ahead of Tech1 Racing's Mathieu Chéruy and Jonathan Hirschi.

Mugello: Mercedes Finally Find Some Form


Mattias Lauda will start 17th

Jamie Green (Salzgitter AMG Mercedes C-Class) will start the third round of the 2008 DTM in Mugello, Italy on Sunday from the first row of the grid. In Saturday's exciting qualifying, Jamie held the best time with a 1m43.401 until the closing seconds when he was edged out by Timo Scheider (Audi/1:43.079). Green will start from second place tomorrow.

Three Audis that could challenge for the podium come race day

Ingolstadt/Mugello – Audi driver Timo Scheider remains "the man to be beaten” in the DTM: at the third race of the season the German in his GW:plus/Top Service Audi A4 DTM will start from the pole position as well. At Mugello (Italy), Scheider managed a perfect lap at the crucial moment of qualifying, resulting in a gap of over three tenths of a second to the rest of the field.

The qualifying for the FUJI GT 500 km Race, Round 3 of the 2008 AUTOBACS SUPER GT, took place at Fuji Speedway (one lap 4.563 km) in Shizuoka Pref. on May 3. The TAKATA DOME NSX driven by Takashi Kogure won the GT500 class pole position and will start from the front row in the race on the 4th.

RUMOUR: DTM - Citroen to Join the DTM

It has been reported that French manufacturer, Citroen could enter the DTM series in 2010.
