The title defenders got off to the best possible start

The current Spanish GT champions have started the defence of the title in the best way – a pole position and a victory in the circuit of Jarama, where the first meeting of the Spanish GT Championship 2008 has been held. Despite the accident which forced them to leave the first race, Domingo Romero and Peter Sundberg have worked without a rest with a good final result.

They chased but couldn't catch Rossi

04/05/08 - Spa-Francorchamps Race 2
Having arrived at Spa-Francorchamps as favourite, twenty year old Michaël Rossi (TDS), dealt perfectly with the pressure, winning each of the week-end's two races after starting from pole position in both. He led the second race ahead of the three Tech 1 Racing cars of Dimitri Enjalbert, Mathieu Chéruy and Jonathan Hirschi.

Ralf Schumacher is still to find luck in the DTM, retiring in Mugello

Jamie Green (Salzgitter AMG Mercedes C-Class) won the third round of the 2008 DTM in Mugello, Italy. Paul Di Resta (AMG Mercedes C-Class) came home second. The first win of the year for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class was the 142nd for the brand out of 303 DTM/ITC races since 1988 and the 86th 1-2 victory.

Jarvis (front car) finished fifth for Audi while Primat finished eighth

Ingolstadt/Mugello – At the DTM’s Italian round, Audi defended its overall lead. Although scoring no points at Mugello after a jump start, Audi driver Timo Scheider continues heading the leaderboard. Tom Kristensen clinched third place for Audi in an action-packed race. A total of five A4 DTM cars finished in the top eight, and thus in the points.

Tachikawa/Lyons take the win in Fuji

The FUJI GT 500KM RACE, Round 3 of the 2008 AUTOBACS SUPER GT, took place at Fuji Speedway (one lap 4.563 km x 110 laps) in Shizuoka Pref. on May 4, and victory was won by the ZENT CERUMO SC430 driven by Yuji Tachikawa and Richard Lyons for the first time this season.
