Le Mans: Nicolas Lapierre Replaced by Marcel Fässler in the #6 Courage Oreca

Nicolas Lapierre, who had to skip test day due to health issues, is still not on top form according to Team Matmut Oreca’s press release of Monday June 9. His replacement driver on car #6 will be Marcel Fässler, thus teaming up with Oliver Panis and Simon Pagenaud.

The Le Mans 24 Hours is a priority fixture for Michelin. This year again, a fleet of semi-trailers will haul some 8,000 tyres to the French circuit.

The final tyres come off the production line at the beginning of June before being trucked to La Sarthe early in race week.
