Sam Hancock took 16th place on his Porsche Supercup debut at Magny-Cours at the weekend, stepping up from the Carrera Cup Great Britain to the prestigious grand-prix support series.

Quaife on form for Supercup return

Phil Quaife was back out on track in the Porsche Supercup this weekend, supporting the FIA Formula One World Championship, at the fast but technical circuit of Magny Cours in France.

It was a Dutch 1-2 in France

Stuttgart. Great success for the Netherlands at the sixth round of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup on the Circuit de Nevers. At the 14-lap race on the French Grand Prix track, first and second went to two Dutchman, Jeroen Bleekemolen and Jaap van Lagen, ahead of Stefan Rosina from Slovakia. For Bleekemolen, this marks his second win in France within one week. Last Sunday, the 25-year-old claimed class victory at the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours at the wheel of the Porsche RS Spyder sports prototype.

The THP Spider Cup is back in action

It’s almost as though nothing can separate the THP Spider Cup and the Coupe 207 THP any more! Following the recent WTCC weekend in Pau where both of Peugeot Sport’s single-make racing series formed part of the programme, the two championships will be sharing the bill again this weekend at the French circuit of Val de Vienne which is hosting a Super Série FFSA fixture. The two competitions are very distinct, but the THP Spider Cup and the Coupe 207 THP do have a couple of points in common: the cars that star in both championships are powered by the same 1.6 THP engine (which is the fruit of collaboration with BMW Group) and the fact that they both offer outstanding spectator value...

Scuderia Ecosse have announced their third driver for Spa
