MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada - Scott Pruett broke the Grand-Am Rolex Series track record early this afternoon at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve with a lap of 1:33.199 (104.641 mph) and will lead the field to the green flag of the Montreal 200, a 74-lap race with a two-hour time limit, which is set to fall at 4:21 this afternoon (SPEED, 8 p.m. ET).

A great last lap from Lamy put the Larbre Saleen S7R on Pole

Pole position for the 2008 edition of the Total 24 Hours of Spa went right down to the final minutes of qualifying; when the chequered flag fell on Friday afternoon it was Pedro Lamy who was fastest, putting the nr 7 Larbre Competition Saleen S7R at the head of the field. Thomas Biagi, the reigning FIA GT Champion, was fastest in GT2 in the nr 51 AF Corse Ferrari F430; quickest G2 car was the nr 102 McDonald’s Racing Porsche 996 Bi-Turbo, while the nr 123 Mühlner Motorsport Porsche 997 GT3 Cup S headed the big G3 field. The Total 24 Hours of Spa will get under way at the traditional time of 4pm on Saturday, with 44 cars taking the start.
