Golden Motors Rejoin In Germany

The Golden Motors team from Russia, will rejoin the championship at the end of August, for the next race meeting at Oschersleben.

Nurburgring: Liz Halliday to Race for Creation

After announcing a deal to race with Creation AIM at the final two rounds of the American Le Mans Series earlier in the week, Liz Halliday will get a much earlier opportunity to race the team’s CA07 chassis than originally expected, having been called up to contest this weekend’s Nurburgring 1000kms.

Peugeot to Compete at Petit Le Mans


The diesel battle will return to the USA at Petit Le Mans

In addition to its bid to defend its Le Mans Series title, Peugeot Sport is already focusing its resources on its preparations for the 2009 Le Mans 24 Hours. To this end, an entry for October's Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta has been added to the 908 HDi FAP's programme.

Peugeot have taken another pole in an effort to keep their perfect Le Mans Series record

What other word to describe the performance of the Peugeot Total team in qualifying at the Nurburgring, as Marc Gene snatched pole position from his team-mate Pedro Lamy to put the 908 HDi-FAP diesel prototypes on the front row of the grid. And in third place was the Aston Martin Lola of the Charouz Racing System team after a fantastic performance from Berliner Stefan Mucke, who out-paced Alexandre Premat and Rinaldo 'Dindo' Capello in their Audi R10 TDI diesel prototypes.
