Estoril: Martin Takes Race 1


Martin closed the gap at the top of the standings after winning race 1

Maxime Martin (Thierry Boutsen Energy Racing) continued his recent run of form today, picking up his sixth win of the season ahead of Dimitri Enjalbert (Tech 1 Racing) and Michaël Rossi (TDS). Rossi still leads the Eurocup Mégane Trophy standings, but Martin is now only three points behind him.

In Race 2 at Estoril, the battle between Maxime Martin (Thierry Boutsen Energy Racing) and Michaël Rossi (TDS) was fiercer than ever, with Rossi overtaking Martin and Martin coming back at him hard. Rossi's fourth win of the season means he will head to Barcelona with a lead of six points over Martin.
