While Dimitri Enjalbert (Tech 1 Racing) was bursting with joy at the finish for winning for the second time this season, the happiest driver at the end of this race was Michaël Rossi (TDS). Taking advantage of Maxime Martin's (Thierry Boutsen Energy Racing) retirement, Michaël Rossi won the Eurocup Mégane Trophy 2008.

Autopolis: Motoyama and Treluyer Take the Spoils

On Oct. 19, the SUPER GT IN KYUSHU 300 km, Round 8 of the 2008 AUTOBACS SUPER GT, was run at the AUTOPOLIS in Oita Pref. In the GT500 class, the XANAVI NISMO GT-R team (Satoshi Motoyama/Benoit Treluyer) scored a pole-to-checkered victory. In the GT300 class the DAISHIN ADVAN Z (Takayuki Aoki/Tomonobu Fujii) came from second position on the starting grid to win their first race of the season.

Brabham Voted Double Fans Most Popular ALMS Driver


A great year for Brabham ended with the fans vote

David Brabham scooped no fewer than two Most Popular Driver Awards at the American Le Mans Series Awards Banquet in Monterey, California, on Sunday 19 October following the final round of the season at Laguna Seca. The charismatic sports car veteran and double Le Mans 24 Hour GT1 class winner was confirmed as the fans favourite ALMS driver worldwide, by capturing both the ALMS and Motors TV Most Popular Driver Awards, while Brabham also collected his second-place LMP2 championship trophy alongside teammate Scott Sharp.
