a rollercoaster ride for the new Ginetta-Zytek 07S during the first five
hours of the Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta. Around the forty-four
minute mark of the 10-hour or 1,000 mile race, Danny Watts powered past
all three works Porches into the lead of the American Le Mans Series
flagship event.

Motors TV Secure Two-Year Extension to American Le Mans Series Coverage

Prior to a scintillating race at Road Atlanta last weekend, Motors TV (Sky Channel 413 and Virgin Media 545) and the American Le Mans Series were pleased to announce a two-year television contract extension.

Eric De Doncker Clinches Second Successive Title in the GT4 European Cup!


De Doncker is again the GT4 Champ

Having won the first edition of the GT4 European Cup last year, Eric De Doncker had set his sights on the title for a second time around. However it was a major challenge taking into consideration the fact that the presence of several Aston Martins, not forgetting the Nissan 350 Z or the BMW Z4 Coupé, had all raised the competitive level in this European championship. Throughout the entire season De Doncker managed to get the best out of his Ford Mustang FR500C entered by the Insulco Motorsport 98 team, to such an extent that when he finally arrived at Nogaro, for the final round held over three races, the Belgian driver knew he was up in the top rankings, prior to finally being crowned champion for a second consecutive time.

Podiums were on offer for Matech at Nogaro

The penultimate round of the FIA GT3 European Championship was held this weekend on the French circuit of Nogaro, where the Matech Racing Ford GTs were omnipresent amongst the leading pack. Right from the qualifying sessions Luca Pirri (#19) and Bradley Ellis (#21) were up in the top 3 for the first race, a performance repeated by Thomas Mutsch (#20), but this time with a view to the second race.
