Audi Celebrates Most Successful Motorsport Season

Ingolstadt/Neckarsulm – Four rings, four wins. The end of season party at the Audi Forum Neckarsulm was celebrated under this motto, and at which Audi thanked its teams and drivers for the most successful motorsport season in the company’s history. Chairman of the Board of Management Rupert Stadler and Michael Dick, Member of the Board of Management with responsibility for Technical Development, emphasised the importance of motorsport for the brand.

Alesi Leads Speedcar Testing at Dubai

Speedcar Series today conducted the first of a 2 day test session at the Dubai Autodrome. Eight teams and 14 drivers attended the event.

Teams from various parts of the globe turned out to test the 6.2 litre V8 Speedcars including David Price Racing from the UK; Malaysian team Meritus Racing, Christian Jones Racing from Australia and German Phoenix Racing that also ran in Speedcar Series' debut season. Three teams from Italy including AF Corse (winner of the FIA GT Championship), Durango and N Technology were also present.

Phillippe and Matsuda won the race

The FUJI GT 300km RACE, 9th and final round of the 2008 AUTOBACS SUPER GT, was held on Nov. 9 at the Fuji Speedway (one lap 4.563 km) in Shizuoka Pref. The winners in the GT500 class were the CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R team of Tsugio Matsuda and Sebastien Philippe. The winners in the GT300 class were the YUNKER-POWER TAISAN PORSCHE team.
