Besides the GP2 Series, this week Durango will enter the Speedcar Series as well. The scuderia from Veneto will make its debut in the prestigious Dubai born championship with an exceptional driver and a young one. The exceptional driver is the 1997 Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve, the young one is the twenty year old Austrian Christopher Zoechling. On his car, as race number, there will be the special Durango 25th anniversary logo.

The new M3 put in almost 1400 miles of testing work

HILLIARD, Ohio (December 1, 2008) -- The all-new BMW M3 that signals the return of BMW to American sportscar competition in 2009 successfully completed its first test sessions on American soil last week, as BMW Rahal Letterman Racing Team and BMW Motorsport put nearly 1,400 miles of work in at Road Atlanta and Sebring International Raceway.

Johnny Mowlem will remain with Corsa Motorsports as they take in the LMP1 challenge

1st December 2008 -- Announced today is that British racing star Johnny Mowlem will remain with the Corsa Motorsports team with full factory support from Zytek Engineering for the 2009 racing season. He will drive the LMP1 in the North America-based American Le Mans Series.
