THP Spider Cup: French soccer star Fabien BARTHEZ joins the fun

Following the opening round which formed part of the Le Mans Series bill at Monza, Pau is the second port of call for the 2008 THP Spider Cup which features a calendar of eight meetings across Europe.

For once, it seems like luck is on the side of Risi Competizione. Both of the team's Ferrari F430 GTs are en route to Europe for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this despite a hard crash of the No. 62 car in the latter half of the Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix presented by the Grand and Little America Hotels. But only the right-rear quarter panel had to be replaced, and the car's shock tower needed repairs as well.

Barely had the chequered flag come down on the 2007 Le Mans 24 Hours than Peugeot Sport began focusing all its energy and resources on this year's race. The legendary French competition stands out as the priority objective of the brand's motor sport programme and, with less than a month to go before the start, the minds of everyone at Velizy are concentrated on this goal alone. And the team's physical preparation is considered just as crucial as the technical work.
