Lausitz 6-Hours - VHC and GT/Tourisme "Trouble in the Air"

As this event does not count towards the Championnat de France Endurance VHC, some teams have preferred to stay on vacation rather than stretch their legs on this superb track. The Challenge Endurance VHC competitors will be racing alongside those in the Challenge Endurance GT/Tourisme. Comparison of the times set by the historic racers shows that the mix will be quite balanced and the thrill of overtaking the more modern carss should add a little spice for those behind the wheels of the classics.

Lausitz 6-Hours - Challenge Endurance VHC "More Trouble at the Top"

Unlike the Challenge Endurance GT/Tourisme, the leaders of the Challenge Endurance VHC will not miss an opportunity to notch up a hefty load of points. With their superb 1974 Porsche 3.0 RSR N°17, Patrick Biehler and Marc De Siebenthal should have lots of fun mixing it with the moderns. The car, prepared in Marc's Swiss workshops, will also be driven by the man who has lent a hand for the long races, his brother, Olivier.

In His Own Words: Gregory Loles

"We're definitely working on a second car..."

"We're really close." The saying might be overused but not in the case of Farnbacher Loles Racing. The first six races of the American Le Mans Series were more often than not filled with misfortune and just general bad luck - podium finishes at St. Petersburg and Lime Rock not withstanding. Persistence paid off two weeks ago with a well-earned GT2 class victory in its Porsche 911 GT3 RSR at Road America with drivers Dirk Werner, Richard Westbrook and Bryce Miller. Naturally team principal Gregory Loles thinks may serve as a springboard for more good fortune down the road.
