The was Nissan's first win at Supo with the GT-R

On July 26, the “SUGO GT 300KM RACE," Round 5 of the 2009 AUTOBACS SUPER GT, was held at Sportsland Sugo (one lap: 3.704 km, 81 laps) in Miyagi Prefecture and the GT500 class winner was the MOTUL AUTECH GT-R driven by Satoshi Motoyama/Benoit Treluyer. It was the second win this season.

JOLIET, Ill. (July 26, 2009) – Randy Pobst, of Gainesville, Ga., won the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Grand Prix at Autobahn Presented by Blackdog Speed Shop Sunday, taking his first win of the season in an eventful race at the first-time venue, part of the Harrah’s Autobahn Grand Prix Presented by Mazda weekend. Brandon Davis, of Huntington Beach , Calif. , and Brian Kubinski, of nearby Shorewood, Ill. , completed the top three.
