Audi Successfully Concludes R18 Test


Audi tested the R18 and R15 at Sebring

Ingolstadt, January 31 - Four and a half months before the Le Mans 24 Hours, preparations for the endurance classic are in full swing at Audi. Two new Audi R18 cars and one Audi R15 TDI were used in tests at Sebring (U.S. state of Florida).

Oreca to Race with Peugeot 908 in 2011


The champion team of the Le Mans Series will again run with the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP

The team of Hugues de Chaunac begins 2011 with the same car, the 908 HDi FAP, which will be drven by Nicolas Lapierre and Loic Duval in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup. Team Oreca begin season with the 12 Hours of Sebring, the scene of the first round of the ILMC, organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest of seven races. The team will make its return to Florida for the first time since 2000 when they won the GTS class victory with Viper.

The 2011 Sebring 12 Hours Poster Revealed



The official poster for the 59th annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida has been unveiled. This year’s poster features a scene by motorsports artist Roger Warrick showing the final turn of Sebring’s legendary 3.7-mile circuit. The artwork reflects the diverse field of Le Mans Prototypes and GT cars entered in this year’s classic.

Jaguar RSR have a surprising driver lineup for the 2011 season

It is with great pleasure and excitement that JaguarRSR announces its plans to run two full-season JaguarRSR XKR GTs in the 2011 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrόn with what is turning out to be a star-studded driver lineup. One of the entries will see open-wheel stars Bruno Junqueira and Cristiano Da Matta kick off their GT racing careers on the JaguarRSR full season roster and P.J. Jones has been signed to pilot the second entry and awaits confirmation of his teammate.
