      Klaus Graf and Romain Dumas won Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of Mosport on Sunday, taking Muscle Milk Team CytoSport’s Porsche RS Spyder to victory in a race called after 2:19 running. A heavy accident between Luke Hines and Jonny Cocker on Mosport International Raceway’s Andretti Straight damaged the Armco safety barrier beyond timely repair.

    • Mosport: Cytosport Takes First Pole in Crucial Race:

      A wild season of qualifying in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón continued Saturday. Muscle Milk Team CytoSport’s Klaus Graf grabbed pole position for Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of Mospot, the seventh driver in eight races to earn those honors. He set a best lap of 1:06.956 (132.212 mph) around Mosport International Raceway in the Muscle Milk Porsche RS Spyder that he will drive with factory pilot Romain Dumas.

      Porsche factory driver Romain Dumas was quickest again at Mosport International Raceway on Saturday in the first official practice for Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of Mosport. The reigning overall champion at the 24 Hours of Le Mans set a lap of 1:07.489 (131.168 mph) around Mosport International Raceway for Muscle Milk Team CytoSport in its Porsche RS Spyder.

    • David Brabham to Make 100th ALMS Start at Mosport:

      DANBURY, CT, Tuesday, August 24, 2010: Patrón Highcroft Racing will be looking to return to victory lane to celebrate David Brabham's 100th American Le Mans Series race this weekend as the championship heads north of the border to Mosport International Raceway near Toronto.

    • ALMS Announces Expanded 2011 Schedule:

      ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – The 2010 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón will go down as a season of remarkable growth and expansion. Already, the 2011 championship is shaping up similarly with Sunday’s announcement of next year’s schedule. Ten venues are on the docket including a familiar mix of high-profile street circuits and North America’s best permanent road courses.

      Jonny Cocker went from fourth to first in the last four laps Sunday as Drayson Racing won its first race in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón. Cocker passed Muscle Milk Team CytoSport’s Klaus Graf with two turns left at Road America and won the American Le Mans Series powered by eStar by 1.051 seconds in the Lola-Judd coupe that he shares with Paul Drayson.

The young British star turned a lap of 1:49.554 (133.019 mph) around Road America in the Lola-Judd coupe that he will share with Paul Drayson.

    • Road America, Where Close Finishes are the Norm:

      Despite being the longest circuit on the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón calendar, Road America has had a knack of producing close finishes in the last five years. The 4.048-mile, 14-turn circuit has played host to the Series each year since 2002 and has produced five of its 30 tightest endings.

    • Jaguar RSR Gaining Confidence and Looking Forward to Road America:

      With two solid consecutive top-ten runs in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón, the JaguarRSR team heads to Road America. Road America is a track that has that has been successful for Principal Partner Paul Gentilozzi and his former squads in Trans-Am and Champ Car.       Libra Racing’s debut entry in the American Le Mans Series met with mixed results at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Challenge on Saturday. A strong opening stint by former Indy Lights ace Andrew Prendeville set the stage for a solid fourth-in-class finish until a sudden loss in oil pressure on the 44th lap forced the Libra Racing Radical SR9 into the garage.

      Muscle Milk Team CytoSport's Greg Pickett will miss the remainder of the 2010 American Le Mans Series championship after being diagnosed with rib and back injuries overnight.

    • Mid Ohio: Trilling Race as LMP and GT2 Separated by Less Than 1 Second:

      Dyson Racing won an absolute classic race Saturday in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón as Chris Dyson held off Patrón Highcroft Racing’s Simon Pagenaud by 0.506 seconds in the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Challenge. Dyson and Guy Smith each won overall in the Series for the first time, as did their Castrol-liveried, Mazda-powered Lola B09/86 coupe running on isobutanol.

      David Brabham followed up Friday's run to pole position with the fastest time in Saturday's warmup session for the American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park. Brabham's best lap of 50.700 (106.509 mph) was a scant 0.035 seconds better than Drayson Racing's Jonny Cocker.

      Patrón Highcroft Racing's David Brabham won a stunning wet qualifying session Friday at Lime Rock Park for his second overall pole position in the American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix. Brabham turned in a best lap of 58.106 (92.934 mph) in the HPD ARX-01c that he will drive with Simon Pagenaud. He outpaced Muscle Milk Team CytoSport's Klaus Graf by 0.64 seconds.

      Klaus Graf set the quickest time in a damp first practice for the American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix on Friday morning, a lap of 1:02.289 (86.693 mph) in Muscle Milk Team CytoSport's Porsche RS Spyder. Graf outpaced Patrón Highcroft Racing's David Brabham by just 0.069 seconds around the wet 1.5-mile, 10-turn Lime Rock Park circuit.

    • Sebring: Bizarre Incident Effectively Ends Falken and Lizards Run for Victory:

      The #17 Team Falken Tire Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, which was running sixth in the GT2 class for the first seven hours of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, lost a right rear wheel on the course, came in for a replacement and fender repair, and then lost the same wheel again, bringing out a full course yellow flag.

The No. 92 and No. 90 BMW M3 GT Coupes will start from 7th and 13th on the GT2 grid1, respectively.

    • ACO Announces Regulations Change in Intercontinental Cup:

      The Automobile Club de l’Ouest – the governing body of the 24 Hours of Le Mans – confirmed Friday the launch of the 2010 Intercontinental Cup with the 13th annual Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta as the second of the three-race global championship.

The Spanish star qualified on pole position for the 58th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida with a lap of 1:45.214 (126.599 mph) for Team Peugeot Total, beating out teammate Nic Minassian by 0.627 seconds.

      Marc Gene went back to the top of the timing screen Thursday night with the quickest time in Thursday's night practice for the 58th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. The Spanish star turned a lap of 1:45.494 (126.263 mph) in the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP that he will share with fellow reigning Le Mans 24 Hours winner Alexander Wurz and Anthony Davidson in the opening round of the 2010 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón.

    • Sebring: Peugeot Top the Times in Thursday Practice:

      For the second straight session, Team Peugeot Total's No. 08 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP was the quickest car in practice for the 58th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. Nic Minassian turned in the fastest lap around 3.7-mile, 17-turn Sebring International Raceway at 1:45.371. Minassian is driving with Pedro Lamy and Sebastien Bourdias, who was quickest in the morning practice for the opening round of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron.

    • Kolles and Level 5 Team Up for Le Mans:

      Thanks to the unstinting efforts of Christophe Bouchut, the Kolles team will have a fine driver line-up for the 78th Le Mans 24 Hours in June. It consists of a former race winner and two gentlemen drivers in a prototype that has won the event three times on the trot!

      (Sebring, Fla. March 16, 2010) As reported, the #37 AER-powered Lola B06/10 LMP1 race car got airborne and flipped several times on the straight between Turns 9 and 10 of the 3.7-mile, 17-turn Sebring International Raceway circuit while testing for the 58th Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring Presented by Fresh from Florida. The event is the opening race of the 2010 season for the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón.
