Dublin, Ohio - ntersport Racing announced today Star Mazda veteran John Faulkner will join Champ Car Atlantic star Ryan Lewis in the team's second LMP1 car as driver for the Acura Sports Car Challenge July 17-19 at Mid-Ohio in the 2008 American Le Mans Series.

On Wednesday, the American Le Mans Series announced the competition rules and regulations for its Green Challenge™ that will debut at Road Atlanta on Oct. 4 for Petit Le Mans. The Green Challenge™ has been developed in association with the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and SAE International, formerly known as the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

AGR will have new drivers for the remainder of 2008
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 26, 2008) – Andretti Green Racing (AGR) announced today it has signed Franck Montagny to become the primary driver of the #26 XM Satellite Radio Acura ARX-01b for the remainder of the 2008 American Le Mans Series (ALMS) season, beginning with the next tour stop at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Ct.

ATLANTA, Ga. (June 25, 2008) - It seems only a short time ago that a $60 barrel of oil caused great concern among industry business leaders, politicians and consumers. There are now predictions that $200 a barrel may be likely. Gasoline prices have escalated to all-time highs while automobile sales are decreasing at rates not seen in decades. Combined with higher levels of greenhouse gas emissions, climate change becomes increasingly apparent.

The Corvette Z06 has shown a lot of promise so far and it would be a shame to see it go, even for a short time
LG Motorsports could have seen its last ALMS race for the time being as financial woes strike the team.

British driver, Ryan Lewis to compete in American Le Mans Series with Intersport
Indianapolis, USA - 23 June 2008: It was announced today that British racing driver, Ryan Lewis, will contest the remainder of the 2008 American Le Mans Series with Intersport Racing. The 24 year-old will race a Lola B07/10 AER in the LMP1 class, starting at Mid-Ohio in just over three weeks' time.

Michel Jourdain Jr. Joins Lowe's Fernandez Racing for Petit
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 5, 2008) -- Lowe's Fernandez Racing today announced that open-wheel and NASCAR talent Michel Jourdain Jr. has been signed as a third driver for the team in the American Le Mans Series. Jourdain will join long-time friends and fellow countrymen Adrian Fernandez and Luis Diaz behind the wheel of the #15 Lowe's Acura ARX LMP2 prototype beginning with the renowned 1,000-mile/10-hour Petit Le Mans endurance classic on October 4. He will also drive for the team in the 2009 Twelve Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans.
