AIM Autosport's takes third Grand-Am Rolex Series Pole of 2008
MILLVILLE, N.J. (Aug. 30, 2008) -Mark Wilkins saved his best for last Saturday at Thunderbolt Raceway at New Jersey Motorsports Park, winning the pole for Sunday's Supercar Life 250, the penultimate of 14 rounds for the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16. The race takes the green flag at 1:07 p.m. ET (SPEED, Live, 1 p.m. ET Sunday).

Scott Pruett was involved in a practice crash Thursday at New Jersey Motorsports Park while testing for Sunday's Supercar Life 250. The Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 championship leader was taken to South Jersey HealthCare Regional Medical Center, where he was evaluated and released.

Ganassi could win the title at New Jersey
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 27, 2008) - America's newest road circuit is set to hold its first professional racing weekend, as the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 visits New Jersey Motorsports Park for Sunday's Supercar Life 250. The Daytona Prototype and GT classes will tackle the 14-turn, 2.25-mile Thunderbolt Raceway in the event - which will cover 250 miles (112 laps) with a two-hour and 45-minute time limit - at 1:07 p.m. Sunday. The race will be televised live on SPEED (1 p.m. ET Sunday).

The Valiante and Angelelli and the rest of the team got reward in a tough year
SONOMA, Calif. (Aug. 23, 2008) - In a season where just about everything has gone wrong for the SunTrust Racing team in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16, everything went right for Michael Valiante and Max Angelelli Saturday at Infineon Raceway. Valiante led the opening 24 laps before handing over the No. 10 Pontiac Dallara to Angelelli, who led the final 58 laps to win the Armed Forces 250. The Daytona Prototype race will be televised Sunday at noon ET.

MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada - Scott Pruett broke the Grand-Am Rolex Series track record early this afternoon at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve with a lap of 1:33.199 (104.641 mph) and will lead the field to the green flag of the Montreal 200, a 74-lap race with a two-hour time limit, which is set to fall at 4:21 this afternoon (SPEED, 8 p.m. ET).
