The 2010 Le Mans Series Calendar Begins to take Shape


The Le Mans Series will race at Silverstone in 2010

The 2010 season is taking shape. On Tuesday, three dates and three circuits were announced:

Danny Watts Signs Long Term Deal with Strakka


Strakka Racing is pleased to confirm that the team has signed a new long-term contract with established sportscar ace Danny Watts.

The Aylesbury-born driver joined Strakka at the beginning of 2009, and has raced for the squad in this season's Le Mans Series and Le Mans 24 Hours. His debut for the team at Barcelona in April included a stunning pole position start to Round 1, and he has consistently been one of the fastest drivers in the championship.

The Changes in Detail to the 2010 ACO Rules


Teams have been waiting these changes for a while, one hopes that it will not cost too much to implement

As planned, the ACO is being more specific about its 2010 regulations, regarding the aerodynamics of the LMPs, and more particularly, the front bodywork.

On the occasion of the 2009 “24 Heures du Mans”, the ACO promised to meet the constructors at regular intervals before proposing its regulations.

ACO Clarifies LMP and GT 2010 Regulations

On Tuesday, 6th October, the ACO held a meeting in Paris to which were invited those constructors involved, or who could become involved in the 24 Heures du Mans, and in the series which are run under the same rules (ALMS, LMS, Asian Le Mans Series).
