The Aston Martin GT1 Championship teams are now known

JMW Motorsport have announced that they will race an Aston Martin Vantage GT2 in 2010. This was the first of a number of announcements from Aston Martin just before Christmas.

Kolles Commits to Le Mans Series



Team Kolles will be back in the Le Mans Series in 2010 racing the Audi R10 TDI. The team also aims to compete in the Le Mans 24 Hours and the Le Mans Intercontinental Cup.

Strakka Confirms Switch to Acura for 2010



Strakka will have their third new car in three years

Strakka Racing has confirmed its move to Acura for the 2010 Le Mans Series. The team will compete in an Acura ARX-01 LMP2 sports prototype.

OAK Racing Takes Control of Pescarolo the Manufacturer


OAK Racing have taken control of the manufacturing aspects of the Pescarolo prototype car program

French Le Mans Series team, OAK Racing has taken over the manufacturer and marketing of the Pescarolo prototype P1 and P2 cars.

OAK Racing will also develop the car and ensure its continued adherence to the ACO rules.

ACO Releases Full Regulations for 2010

The ACO has released the Le Mans branded races regulations for 2010. Items of note include revised front and rear body work. While most cars would have been effected, Pescarolo LMP1/P2, ORECA LMP1, Lola LMP1/LMP2 and Acura ARX-01C LMP2 have been given waivers.

BMW Announce Their 2010 Sportscar Programs

BMW has announced their 2010 plans which include a number of exciting sportscar programs. Firstly, they plan to contest the 2010 ALMS Championship with Rahal Letterman Racing. They will have an unchanged lineup of Dirk Muller, Tommy Milner, Bill Auberlen and Joey Hand.

Le Mans Series Confirms 2010 Calendar


At the same time as the past season is officially declared over and many guests are gathered at the Le Mans circuit for the 2009 prize giving ceremony, the complete 2010 calendar is finally disclosed. Five races for this seventh season, including some novelties.

Speedy Racing Team Sebah have announced today a rebranding of their team for the 2010 season. The Anglo/Swiss team will now be known as Rebellion Racing in deference to their main partner, Rebellion time pieces and race two Lola LMP1 Coupes in 2010.

Loeb could make a return to Le Mans with Peugeot

Last week saw Peugeot Sport organise a test session with the 908 HDi FAP at the new Motorland circuit in Aragon, Spain. The drivers present at this test were Sébastien Bourdais, Marc Gené, Franck Montagny, Alexander Wurz and Sébastien Loeb.
