Stuttgart. The 16th season of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup concluded with Jereon Bleekemolen of the Jetstream Motorsport PZ Essen team claiming the title. The new champion from the Netherlands won the series with a 72-point advantage over the second placed driver. Never before has the gap been so large. Over the course of the year, twelve championship rounds were contested in ten countries with an average of 28 pilots from a total of 19 nations competing. Stuttgart. The final race of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup in the Italian city of Monza could hardly have been more thrilling. On the damp high-speed circuit, Frenchman Nicolas Armindo (26) navigated his 420 hp Porsche 911 GT3 Cup through the notorious chicanes and brought home the team title for his Konrad Motorsport squad. Second went to Joerg Hardt (Germany) driving for Schnabl Engineering-LKM-KplusK Motorsport. The new champion Jeroen Bleekemolen (Netherlands), competing for the Jetstream Motorsport PZ Essen team, saw the chequered flag in third position.

Stuttgart. Jeroen Bleekemolen is the new champion of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup. The 26-year-old Jetstream Motorsport PZ Essen team pilot secured the coveted title already in the qualifying for the penultimate round in Spa-Francorchamps.

Stuttgart. Sean Edwards from Great Britain triumphed at the eleventh round of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup in Spa-Francorchamps. For the 21-year-old Konrad Motorsport pilot, this was his second victory of the season, with both wins on wet tracks.
