Friday (15th September) was a very special day for Team LNT - they had a very special
visitor. Dr Don Panoz - the president of Panoz, based in Georgia, USA.
Don had made it known that he and everybody at Panoz wished to thank Team LNT for
adding the Panoz name to the list of winners at the prestigious 24 Hour Le Mans race in
June this year - in Team's first season racing the American sportscar.

“Dr. Don Panoz wanted to recognise the efforts of everyone who was involved in winning
GT2 at Le Mans,” said Team LNT commercial director Richard Dean. “Lawrence
(Tomlinson) had been playing golf with Don in Scotland, and Don said he wanted to present
something, in person, to every member of the team who was at Le Mans in June."

The Team (and of course, the winning car!) greeted Dr. Panoz at Leeds Bradford airport and
were individually introduced to each other as Don handed over a commemorative gift.

"The dream of winning at Le Mans lives inside anyone who has entered there. But to finish
first at Le Mans, first you have to finish and you guys did that with the car right out of the
box" said Don as he thanked the Team. "You did a great job and I thank you all for your hard
work."

As a return of thanks for the help and support Panoz themselves individually and as a
company have given Team LNT, the President was handed a framed, large photographic
print with a collage of images telling the story of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race 2006.

We'll have to see how the Le Mans 2007 story pans out next year - Testing's on Sunday
June 3rd with the race over June 16-17th.
