The Aston Martin Racing team and US-based investment bank, Jefferies & Company Inc, have become official partners. In addition to focussing on the team’s competitiveness, the partnership will support certain charities and their related causes.
Jefferies is supporting the team as it heads for the last round of the American Le Mans Series at Laguna Seca. This final race is crucial for Aston Martin Racing as the team remains a competitor for the championship at this race.
Jefferies is one of the world’s leading investment banks and institutional securities firms serving growth and mid-sized companies and their investors. John Sinders, Managing Director and head of Jefferies transportation, oil services and infrastructure group, sees great benefit for his global business in working with an internationally-recognised brand like Aston Martin Racing. He said: “This partnership brings together two leading global companies who share a passion for performance and perfection. Not only will we work together to provide much needed financial support for Bridge House and the new Oxford Children’s Hospital, but we aim to help the team towards another win at Laguna Seca and a possible championship victory.”
David Richards, Chairman of Aston Martin Racing, said: “Aston Martin Racing has great appeal to partners and sponsors in all sorts of business sectors. Jefferies understands the benefits an association with such a prestigious global brand as Aston Martin Racing can bring, both on events, and through related activities with its staff and customers. We will work with them to maximise the benefits for our association.”
