With Lola launching the B08/80 Coupe there has been rumour on who will run them.
Internet chatter has it that Intersport will run this car in LMP2 in the '08 ALMS Championship. After using a Creation and open Lola in 2007, this car would represent the third different car in two years. But this is not entirely out of the question as Intersport tries to get noticed as a privateer and draw themselves back into contention.
There is also rumour that RML will use the coupe in 2008. There has been rumours that they will switch cars. Originally it was thought that they would go to P1 but it seems now that they will stay in P2 with the coupe.
It also seems that Speedy Racing will be using this car in 2008. Moving from GT2, this represents a big move for the Swiss team. It could also be the fact that Kruse could move to the Coupe as they have stated they will use a 'British' chassis in 2008 - but it may not be the coupe.
