More information has come regarding Toyota's return to ACO style sportscar racing.
According to ChannelNewsAsia.com, Toyota are considering a return to La Sarthe with a Hybrid car.
An unnamed Toyota official mentioned that with Audi's success in non-traditional racing power, Toyota could do the same with their own trademark power.
Additionally, Toyota has always wanted to succeed at the French classic but was unable to do so with the previous GT1 car in 1998 and 1999. They also like to be competing against their Japanese rivals and with Acura planning a switch to LMP1 and an attack on Le Mans, Toyota could be back.
They would be welcome and they would be wanting to win after their lackluster effort in F1.
