The Charouz Racing Systems LMP1 car, powered by an Aston Martin V12 engine, ran successfully for the first time yesterday evening (9 February).

The car was driven by Jan Charouz at Prodrive's proving ground in Warwickshire, England, as dusk fell over the track.

The car will compete at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the Le Mans Series.
