Former Grand Am and ALMS runners, Pacific Coast Motorsports may make the trip back to sportscars after spending 2007 in the Champ Car World Series.
Journalist Robin Miller is reporting that Pacific Coast could be on their way back to the ALMS as American Open Wheel try to work out which way they want to go.
It is beleived that a merger deal is on the cards but rather than go over to a merged series, they could return to sportscars. They have had some success in sportscars and they do have a bit of money to make it work again.
It does make sense that an entry in GT2 could be the case, but that is certainly not settled.
