The 1000km of Monza was truly an exciting race and not even Audi could escape the drama.

Mid-race, Capello was lapping traffic when he came into contact with Vanina Ickx's Rollcentre Pescarolo when he was tipped into a wild spin.

Capello along with team mate Allan McNish were able to continue and ended up in a well earned sixth place.
