As if to prove that heavy accidents can happen at any time in Monza, Jamie Campbell-Walter crashes his Creation in qualifying.
In all there were three cars that got airborne in Monza, all when they were sideways at speed. The cars however, stand up well to the impacts.
In this incident, Campbell-Walter suffers two fractured vertbrae which saw the Creation withdrawn for the race and has put Campbell-Walter's Le Mans campaign in doubt.
