This car still should return to the ALMS
After an aborted attempt to debut at Sebring, not much has been heard about the ECO Radical LMP1 project.
But according to well placed sources at the ten-tenths forums, the project is still on track with the car being expected back for the latter half of the season.
Apparently there were delays in getting certain parts back from Sebring. This resulted in delays in getting the car into the wind tunnel and doing other tests to the car to ensure reliability. This has been compounded by other commitments from team management.
The major delay, however has been getting the car homolagated to ACO requirements which has represented delays for the squad. Once this has occurred, it is expected that the car will be back on track.
Originally, the plan was to return to racing for Utah but it appears these plans have been delayed.
