This first video in this theme shows highlights of the final portion of the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This was the year that saw Jaguar take the flag to the enormous delight of the large contingent of British fans that are ever present at the French classic.
All other stories seemed to fade into obscurity in 1988 behind the Jaguar victory, a win that very much deserved.
