Matech Racing hopes to carry their Euro success to the German Championship
No longer merely satisfied with their successful progress in this season’s European FIA GT3 championship, the Swiss Matech Racing team will also be competing in the ADAC GT Masters 2008, the German national competition based on the FIA GT3 regulations. The kick-off for this championship will take place on 10th and 11th May at the Oschersleben circuit
A Ford GT Matech Racing will be entered for the event and driven by the young 25 year old Marc Hennerici, the ex-world Touring Cars champion (Independents category) in 2005, who has been fully concentrating on the Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring these last two seasons.
For his debut in the ADAC GT Masters he will team up with Kenneth Heyer, son of the legendary Hans Heyer. Kenneth had previously had the opportunity of driving the Ford GT Matech Racing in Dubai (FIA GT3) last year.
