  • #41 Trading Performance, Zytek 07S With Gosselin driving has been spotted slow on the track. The driver was able to make it back to the pits; the problem seems to be with the right front suspension. At 16:07 Trading Performance, the car has rejoined after sorting out the problems with its front suspension
  • The #19 Chamberlain-Synergy Motorsport, Lola Aer B06-10 with Berridge driving is going very slowly and heading back to the pits with a punctured left front tyre.
  • 16:05 The #55 Interprogressbank Spartak Racing, Lamborghini Murcielago has sheared the bolts in the differential and will be in the pit garage for some time.
  • The #22 Tokai University - YGK Power, Courage-Oreca Ygk while being driven by Haruki Kurosawa is still in the pits after the Japanese driver came in after only 11 laps, complaining that the engine is not running well. Upon inspection, the mechanics conclude that it is misfiring due to trouble with the ignition system. Meanwhile in the RML box repairs on #25 RML, Lola Mg B05-40 Erdos Newton Wallace are being finished.
  • 16:14 The #83 Risi Competizione, Ferrari F 430 GT, which went off at Corvette Curve, has suffered serious damage to the rear end of the car. Shortly after, Fiona Miller tells us that The #83 Risi Competizione, Ferrari F430 GT driven by Krohn, Jonsson and Van De Poele will not be racing again. This is the first official retirement.
  • Karim Ojjeh went of the track with his Zytek #41 at 16h41. Following a touch with the Lola #12 before the entrance of the pit lane the Zytek crossed the track and hit the opposite fence. The Zytek has suffered heavy damage: the front wishbone is split. The race is unfortunately over for Zytek #41.
    However the Lola Judd #12 only suffered a puncture in a tyre and resumed the race shortly.
  • 16:41 the #12 Charouz Racing System Lola Judd driven Graf came into the pits trailing smoke having hit the #41 Trading Performance, Zytek 07S in the Ford Chicane.The #41 is still stuck in the gravel.
  • #73 Luc Alphand Aventures, Corvette C6.R Blanchemain 30 second stop go penalty.. this was because the driver had been speeding in the pit lane
  • #80 Flying Lizard Motorsports, Porsche 911 GT3 RSR Bergmeister van Overbeek Neiman has gone off at Indianapolis damaging the front and probably the radiators. The other car involved was the #76 Imsa Performance Matmut, Porsche 911 GT3 RSR which lost its front wheel. They were leading the class at the time.
  • The #40 Quifel-ASM Team, Lola Aer B05-40 driven by Guy Smith spun off at Arnage. The TV pictures showed that the #64 Corvette Racing, Corvette C6.R.driven by Beretta, was overtaking the #40 car and they touched. This caused the #40 car to spin off. Both cars were undamaged and rejoined the race.
  • 16:59 The #40 Quifel-ASM Team, Lola Aer B05-40 driven by Guy Smith spun off at Arnage. The TV pictures showed that the #64 Corvette Racing, Corvette C6.R.driven by Beretta, was overtaking the #40 car and they touched. This caused the #40 car to spin off. Both cars were undamaged and rejoined the race.
