  • The #44 Kruse Schiller Motorsport, Lola Mazda is going through a difficult patch at the moment. It seems that there is a serious vibration and they can’t trace where it is coming from. It feels as if a wheel has worked loose so the driver, wisely, keeps bring the car back for the team to check it out. It has stopped eleven times, which is about five unscheduled stops so far. As result the car is running 41st overall. It is back in the pits again at the moment.
  • It took the mechanics more than 30 minutes to get to the Antares kink and advise Amanda on what to do to get the #19 Lola Aer B06-10 running again. When the car arrived back in the pits, the engineers checked the data to figure out what caused the incident. The mechanics worked on the engine, and finally replaced the driveshaft. The delay is a hard blow to the efforts of the team, as so far they had been running according to plan.

Hugh Chamberlain says "It had bent front and rear suspension, needed new wing, alternator drive had gone, oil feed to turbo had a problem. Plus, damage had been done by what Amanda had to do to get the car back. Still don't know what sent her into the barriers - possibly oil from the feed to the turbo getting onto the tyres."

  • The #64 Corvette Racing, Corvette C6.R has fallen off the pace and pitted with an alternator problem. This cost them six minute which dropped them to 4th in LMGT1.
  • Stephane Sarrazin breaks the lap record of the race with his Peugeot #8 with a lap time of 3'19.394'.
  • The Porsche Flying Lizard 911 GT3 RSR #80 stops at the pit for frame alignment problem. This is yet another difficulty that the team is facing after the car touched the Porsche #76 Imsa Matmut Performance.
  • After a 22 minutes stopped in the pits, the #24 Terramos Courage Mugen is back on the track. The Terramos Team replaced the rear brake discs, the rear wheel bearing and the front left headlight.
  • The Porsche Spyder RS #31 has been leading the LM P2 category for more than three hours but John Nielsen stops at the pits because of a puncture in the rear right. Although it takes only a short time to replace the wheel, the Porsche Spyder RS #34 of Van Merksteijen Motorsport takes the opportunity of #31’s stop to take the first position of the category.
