  • Michel Vergers pushed his #32 Barazi Epsilon, Zytek 07S all the way back to the pits where the team worked feverishly on an electronic problem. The car is now back in the race.
  • Christian Montanari’s Ferrari #78 of AF Corse SRL has been stopped for 30 minutes in La Chapelle descent. Although the engine is running three mechanics from the team are going on scene to inquire about the situation.
  • The Lamborghini Murcielago was forced to return to its pit to change a mirror and rear left hub, as a result of a contact between Peter Kox with another competitor. The car vibrated badly as a result of this contact. It is very far back in the struggle for LM GT1 that involves the Aston Martin and Corvette #59 #72 and #73. The #55 is now in 45th place, and 43 laps behind the leader.
  • The #24 Terramos, Courage Mugen is experiencing a significant loss of stability and it has been in the pit garage having a rear hub carrier replaced. They also adjusted the setting of the front and rear geometry.
  • 23:48 #8 Team Peugeot Total Peugeot 908 HDI FAP - Alexander Wurz, came in with windscreen smothered in oil (possibly from #11 Dome )It was quickly cleaned and sent out again. At the same time the Saleen #50 came in for the same cleanup who was also behind the Dome at the time of the failure.

    The Japanese #11 car is now in the pit and the mechanics are working on the engine.

  • 23:59 The #20 Epsilon Euskadi has had steering parts changed and they have problems with the fuel tank.
