- Simonsen took the Lola Mazda #44 of Kruse Schiller Motorsport back to the pits to change the rear lights and do a check over on the car.
- The #5 Team Oreca Matmut, Courage-Oreca Judd Groppi Ayari Duval is facing clutch problems while refuelling. It takes only 7 minutes to the mechanics for the repair and Laurent Groppi is now back in the race.
- 00:30 #97 BMS Scuderia Italia Spa, Ferrari F 430 GT is in the pit garage for a change of front brake discs and pads.
- The Epsilon Euskadi #20 steering is broken. The team don't know the reason for this failure, could be the result of a weakness or consequence of a contact.
The Ferrari 430 GT #78, AF Corse team finally managed to rejoin after a long stop.
- At 00:10 a safety car period was called to recover the crashed #6 Team Oreca Matmut, Courage-Oreca Judd, stranded on the Porsche curves.
- 00:39 The race got back to full pace after 34 minutes to recover #6 Team Oreca Matmut, Courage-Oreca of Swiss Marcel Fassler. The LM P1 diesels still occupy the top 6 places ahead of Pescarolo Judd #17.
