- At 11:46 #8 Team Peugeot Total, Peugeot 908 HDI FAP arrived in the pits with the unusual problem of having hit a bird out on the track. The team had to quickly remove the remains of the poor thing from the sidepod and the car went back out. Meanwhile #14 Creation Aim Ca07 is still in the pit garage for a change of the oil pump.
- At 11:30am the #32 Barazi Epsilon, Zytek 07S with Stuart Moseley at the wheel took to the escape road at Playstation chicane with a flat tyre. The driver got out to to survey the damage and then quickly got back on board and headed for the pits.. Some damage was caused by the disintegrating tyre, and some body parts were replaced and the car got back into the race
- The #96 Virgo Motorsport, Ferrari F430 GT has blown its engine and has retired.
- The #2 Audi Sport North America, Audi R10 driven by Kristensen has collided with the #32 Barazi Epsilon, Zytek 07S Barazi at the Dunlop Chicane.The #2 Audi Sport North America, Audi R10 carried on having suffered no apparent damage in the impact. #32 Barazi Epsilon, Zytek 07S has come into the pits.
