Feedmesportscars has been tipped from a friend, Mike Harris, that Honda's favourite driver, Takuma Sato was hanging out at the Le Mans paddock.
Or more to the point, in Dome's motorhome.
Sato raced for Honda with BAR and Super Aguri and found himself out of a drive when the latter team found financial difficulties.
Dome on the other hand is rumoured to have manufacturer interest from Toyota, both of whom would not doubt like to have the skills and the popularity of Sato for themselves.
Coupled with this, the Dome 102 had a fantastic debut, which would tempt any driver to their cockpit.
The FMSC View
This is interesting and it enhances the manufacturer link to Dome - but Sato is a Honda driver. And we all know that Honda via Acura is wanting to launch in P1.
Something makes me think we have not heard the last of either of these stories and of course we will bring you all the updates.
