Valencia: RSV To Race at Track's Debut

RSV will race with International GT Open at the street track in Valencia

RSV makes its debut in an urban circuitThe International GT Open is going to be held in the new urban circuit of Valencia, where the Formula 1 Europe Grand Prix is going to take place. This is the first race in an urban circuit for RSV Motorsport, and it comes just after both drivers of the team have made their best performance of the year in Estoril.

Romero and Sundberg are going to face another experience. It is going to be a decisive weekend and there are going to be some GP2 drivers who join the race with the purpose of studying the circuit – apart from the common opponents. It is going to be difficult and we must also take into account the difficulty of being a new circuit for everyone and which has no previous technical information. The circumstances are going to make the drivers and the engineers work hard during the free training sessions.

The new circuit of Valencia is made by the famous German engineer Hermann Tilke, and it has got a distance of 5,440 meters. The circuit mixes very fast areas with the common corners of the circuits.

Urban circuits are not new for Peter Sundberg because he has excellent results obtained in important Formula 3 races held in Pau, Korea and the mythical Macau.

“I am really excited with this race, the circuit is amazing and I think we are going to give the audience a great show. Besides, I would like to welcome my new sponsor – Exakt Vodka – which is going to give us extra motivation in Valencia.”
