After Racing Box's disastrous foray into LMP2 with Lucchini, the team could be back for 2009.
Fortunately, though it will be with a different car.
The team withdrew from Le Mans after the car was in breech of homologation rules, and to make matters worse, the Lucchini factory did not allow the car to be homologated to the rules...it is a long story.
But now the team are testing drivers for next season. They are currently still using their Lucchini chassis "while waiting for the new cars for the next season"

It will be good to have them back. The financial crisis will take some cars away, and while Racing Box ran the Saleen in 2006, they seemed professional enough so it will be good to have them back.
