LM24: After 12 Hours

The Virgo car is running well

The state of play after 12 hours

  • Around 1.30 AM, Romain Ianetta complained about the steering. The team manager asked him to return to the pit when the car was lying 14th.

After they repaired it and changed the driver (Jamie Campbell-Walter rejoining), the car came back into the pit after one single lap, and has not rejoined yet at 02.35 AM.

  • When he was in 26th, Harold Primat stopped on the circuit, with an engine problem. After 10 minutes of working on the car the driver returned to his pit for a transponder change and to treat an engine overheating problem.
  • The Ferrari came into its garage to change the front brake discs at 02.24 PM. Michael Vergers rejoined a few minutes later but one lap later, came back into it's pit.

This car which is now in 42nd place is managed by the Virgo Motorsport team which has won the Le Mans Series GT2 class for the last two seasons.
