The situation after 18 hours

• Franck Mailleux drove into the garage the of the #18 LMP1 Oreca Judd LC70 of the Signature team to change the left rear driveshaft. Even if they spend some time in the pit, the French car will keep its 19th place


• Robert Bell goes straight on at the Porsche curves before he drives back slowly to the pit with clutch problems.

• Nicolas Prost's teammate Neel Jani spun his car into the gravel bed. The rookie driver lost one place dropping to 7th LM P1 being overtaken by the #14 Kolles Audi R10 TDI driven by Dutch driver Charles Zwolsman Jnr.
