The Corvette factory reign in the top class of GT racing came to an end a couple weeks ago at Le Mans. While they will still have customer teams in GT1 and will race in GT2, we thought it was appropriate to remember the mighty C5.R and C6.R as run by the the General Motors factory via Pratt & Miller. The cars raced in the GTS category and the GT1 category, beginning in 1999. In 2000 Pratt & Miller took over the operation of the cars. The rest is history with the team winning
multiple ALMS titles, multiple Le Mans wins and an overall win at the Daytona 24.
