Could this be the car that Spyker races next???

It has emerged that Spyker may move from GT2 to GT1 with the new rules and the 2010 GT1 World Championship.

Motorsportblog.it has reported that Spyker may use their 2009 C8 Aileron to compete in the Championship.

The Dutch company currently uses the C8 Laviolette GT2-R in the GT2 class. It is understood that this car would not receive factory support if they were to move to the GT1 class.

If Spyker does commit to the new GT1 rules, they would join Nissan and Ford (Matech). It is also rumoured that Ferrari, Aston Martin, Corvette and Lamborghini machines could be seen in GT1 spec next year.
