Brabham and Salo drive things that aren't the ALMS mounts, and another gift idea, for someone or for you!

• 2009 ALMS and Le Mans Champ, David Brabham is heading to the Sydney 500 to race...a Mini. The Mini Challenge will support the final round of the V8 Supercars and will race the 'Uberstar' car. We are not convinced that this will make the Series anything other than - boring - but at least looking at the results will be interesting. This is the first time since 2006 that Brabham will have raced in Australia.


• Risi's Mika Salo joined F1's Jarno Trulli in testing a NASCAR for Michael Waltrip Racing. By all reports the test went adequately well and we think Mika Salo would feel at home in NASCAR - where rubbin's racin'
