The Formula Le Mans Champ tests for Oreca, Grand Am could-be drivers looking around, Kolles and a Peugeot update makes up today's news.
- Formula Le Mans Champion, Nico Verdonck completed his test with Oreca - a prize of winning the title. He completed 25 laps of the Paul Ricard test, and his best lap was just 0.8 of a second away from regular driver and former F1 winner, Olivier Panis
- Jerry Nadeau, former NASCAR driver is looking to get a ride in the Grand Am Series next year. It is said that he is chasing sponsorship from the Army for his return to the cockpit. Nadeau previously raced for such teams as Petty Enterprises and Michael Waltrip Racing. It is not known which team he will race with as yet.
- A Kolles Audi R10 is for sale >here. There is no price tag on the car or conditions for sale. One would have to think though it won't be for front line competition, unless an Audi support contract comes with it. Although this does raise the question of what Audi and Kolles has planned for 2010. Something we will keep you updated with as any news or rumour comes through
- And on rumour, the private Peugeot at Le Mans thing has taken another turn. A few days ago we reported that De Ferran was close to signing to run the car. People have also said that Fernandez could run the car. But now Endurance-Info.com is reporting that the team which will run the car will not be American or Mexican. One might remember that Pescarolo ran the car in 2009 - could this be on the cards again. Whatever the case maybe, an announcement is apparantly not too far away
