  • Signature Plus will race an Aston Martin LMP1 in the Le Mans Series in 2010. The team, which raced an Courage-Orece in 2009 has not confimed their driver lineup for 2010, although Pierre Ragues and Franck Mailleux will have priority, reports AutoHebdo

  • Autosport has reported that de Ferran Motorsport has not shut shop as was rumoured yesterday. "At the time of writing I am working very hard to secure de Ferran Motorsports' immediate future and my plans to enter the 2010 IndyCar championship are still very much alive," said de Ferran.

    "I have continued to employ our staff until now while working towards our 2010 goals but as of yet I am not in a position to announce anything further. The staff have been kept fully informed of the situation and the current status was communicated to them yesterday.

    "In the meantime I am continuing to work on the 2010 programme and will release further information when our plans are finalised."

  • A few teams have announced driver lineups for the Daytona 24 Hours. The latest announcements are:

    - #31 MCM Porsche 997 (Markus Palttala, Jos Menten, Oskar Slingerland and Christophe Lapierre.)
    - J Lowe Racing Porsche 997 (Patrick Pilet, Tim Sugden, James Walker, Jim Lowe, Jim Pace.)
    - Godstone Ranch Motorsports Corvette (Davy Jones, Paul Edwards, Scott Russell and John McCutchen II)

  • GRAND-AM competitor Greg Wilkins, 53, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Vera and children, Mark and Lauren. Our thoughts are with Mark's family and friends at this time
