Jean-Christophe Boullion joins Rebellion Racing

Jean-Christophe Boullion will be leaving Pescarolo for 2010

Double Le Mans Series Champion 2005-2006 and vice-champion in 2009, Jean-Christophe Boullion will be the fourth Rebellion Racing driver for the 2010 season in Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The arrival of Frenchman Jean-Christophe Boullion in the Rebellion Racing alongside Andrea Belicchi (Italy), Nicolas Prost (France) and Neel Jani (Switzerland) is further evidence of the high ambitions of the Swiss team for seasons to come.

Jean-Christophe will team with Andrea Belicchi at the wheel of one of the team's Lola-Rebellion.

This puts into further doubt the future of Pescarolo Sport. The team which has won two Le Mans Series titles sold the constructor arm of the team last year, and recently it was resold to Oak Racing.

Pescarolo has always run on small budgets and team boss, 4 times Le Mans winner, Henri Pescarolo has often lamented the budget of his team.

Boullion was, however a stalwart of the Pescarolo Sport outfit having been there for many years. He has often shown great turns of pace and became one of the most regarded endurance drivers of the decade. His leaving the team is a major sign that the plans at Pescarolo Sport are not going well.

Whether this is actually the case, or if Pescarolo will simply have different drivers for 2010 is not finalised at this stage.

But, unfortunately, the signs are not good for Pescarolo Sport.

Pescarolo's last win came a the Algarve circuit, round 3 of the 2009 season.
